Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder of a man whose body was found lying face down, with two gunshot wounds to the head, on a gravel road in Taylors Halt last week.
The lifeless body of the man, believed to be around 25-years-old, was found by a cattle herdsman at KwaGubeshe plantation in Taylors Halt, Pietermaritzburg.
It is believed that the man was killed and then dragged for a few metres until his body was dumped.
